Affiliate Marketing

Welcome to LAJ Enterprises, I created this site for the purposes of sharing my knowledge of how I discovered the process of learning internet marketing, specifically on affiliate marketing so click here to view more details.  I have made some recommendations that you will absolutely find fascinating and learn a ton, so please read on.

I always wanted to be able to find a way to make a living online and at the same time, give me the ability to use the creative side of my brain. I wanted to learn to find a way to drive traffic to my site and sell products that I didn’t need to be involved with as far as transaction, shipping, customer complaints and returns. I found so many things on the internet but you just don’t know who is being honest and who just wants your money. I’ve purchased products before and thankfully never got ripped off and was graciously refunded when I decided it wasn’t for me. I hope you find the information posted extremely valuable and also discover ways you can also launch an affiliate business with the help of a course I highly recommend.

Last year while still on my quest of finding a way to learn internet marketing, I came across Commission Ritual by Brian Johnson. Seriously, the same marketing tactics, looked like spam, yeah, yeah, you made how much in one week? I seriously almost passed again on this, but for price I had to try this one more time. So I purchased the course and did exactly as he instructed, printed out the manual and read it twice, and then read it again just to make sure I had it engrained in my brain! Once you have completed the reading, it’s onto the instructional videos. He shows you exactly what to do to get your business going. I thoroughly enjoyed every video, and sometimes even now after several months, I still go back and check on things I’m not sure about. This is a lot of work, this is not a get rich quick overnight easy money gig here.  Every day I am learning a new aspect of the business, finding tools to help me along the way, and I recently purchased Phrases That Sell : The Ultimate Phrase Finder to Help You Promote Your Products, Services, and Ideas and this book has been like a bible to me, it encompasses a wide variety of phrases that help you get it sold.

You must stay focused and do something every day.  Write new content, link out to helpful websites for your readers, and join forums for sharing information.  Don’t feel like you need to buy every new widget or software to explode your business, don’t do it.  Just focus on content and build your business slowly.  You will have ample opportunity once you have established  yourself online later.  Don’t fall prey to that pressure ever, it will cost you.

Commission Ritual offers a free forum and everyone is extremely helpful, and seriously, like over the top helpful. I was so frustrated in the beginning because there is so much to know and being the type “A” person I am, I need to learn everything fast, and you just can’t do that with internet marketing. There are so many ways to sell your product that you want to start with this, but then, oh maybe I should do this, and am I ever going to get more ideas, and the list goes on. STOP and breathe, take a break, start slowly, set up your site by the steps, and feel good about that site, have patience and let it sit and simmer. Start a new site, don’t worry about the other site, you will go back to check on it in a couple of months, maybe add more content or more links. Checking on your sites can even be more creative with time. You will learn something new with each site, and then you go back for some maintenance and viola, you have a great idea to move your page up the Google ranks! It’s a good feeling. As Brian will tell you, you will have some winners, some losers and some in-betweens. It’s like anything, practice makes perfect, and before you know it you start thinking differently and you brainstorm with your forum members and it seems like the possibilities are endless, creativity is at your fingertips and the sky is the limit. Discipline is key, this is a business that you must work at every day.

The takeaways here are plain and simple:

  • Research your niche ensure its a targeted keyword phrase
  • Get the domain
  • Set up your site according to the ritual
  • Add some quality outbound links
  • Add some adsense
  • Always add unique content and relative to your topic
  • Affiliate Marketing is a volume business, keep building every day
  • Find another niche and sell it
  • Affiliate yourself with a few key forums, such as Problogger.com subscribe to his feeds, you won’t be sorry and I will recommend another one of my favorites which is Cloud Living and you can Buy Now or peruse for some mind blowing marketing and blogging experiences!

Thanks Aaron, it is a lot of work, but what I love about it, is the various ways you can market what you choose to promote and even at that, it can be overwhelming, so staying focused is key.

  8. I haven’t tried affiliate marketing yet on Spunky Jones SEO Blog. I have had good luck with Adsense, so far. However, I am going to launch my first affiliate marketing site in the next couple of months. The biggest thing I have to do is, research affiliate marketing, so I have a good understanding of it.

My developer is trying to convince me to move to .net from PHP. I have always disliked the idea because of the expenses. But he’s tryiong none the less. I’ve been using Movable-type on numerous websites for about a year and am worried about switching to another platform. I have heard very good things about blogengine.net. Is there a way I can import all my wordpress posts into it? Any kind of help would be really appreciated!

  10. Hey, I don’t think telling you this on your post Find A Niche And Sell It, Affiliate Programs, SEO Tips And Techniques is the right place but I couldn’t find a contact form in your somewhat cluttered theme (sorry). My readers used to tell me the same so I switched over to a new theme, you should check it out on this website. I’ve only gotten compliments ever since. Regards, Beau Hasselbarth
